My taxi-driver the other night told me that Glaswegians are very friendly to foriegners - just not to each other! :))

There is a wonderful old pub The Drovers on the other side of the loch at the top near Crianlarich it is a couple of hundred years old. you should try it out if you are near it.

I too have been 'offline' a lot lately. But more because the internet connection here at home keeps going up the shoot, rather than I having better things to do with my time. :))

Why a Pentax?
Familiarity, funtionality, the automatic focusing speed was faster than on the Nikon. And a better camera for similar price. But I've always had Pentax. It's like, I've always driven Nissan. And always owned a Mac...
not yet been given any reason to change...

I have been having infinitly more problems getting a bank account than the NINO. I was thoroughly unimpressed on Thursday!

but today it is warm and sunny (so why am I inside with computer?), and so I am at peace with the world ;D

Sorry I havent checked in recently been kind of busy as you saw in my blog. Anyway, so glad to hear you have your NINO but as an ex Inland Revenue employee, I hate the darn things, you cant access a thing without them, not good when people like yourself come over and try to find out information from us.

Congratulations to your sister on her good news, I hope they come to Britain and ask me to take some photos for them of the bump LOL

Now you have the Pentax (what on earth made you choose that), I look forward to seeing a photo or two.

I've been posting a few maternity shots online this week, nice to have something nice to show for a change.
